Like, I think it's just your personality isn't one to go good with something like someone calling you pet names. With how dominating you are, and then someone talks to you like that it's uncomfortable which makes you even more dominating, and because of your life of people thinking you as weird or bullying you, put two and two together, and in your head, it more often then not comes across to you like they're being condescending when they're really not. Now don't get me wrong, some people do talk like that in a condescending way, just maybe not as often as you think. Even I often get confused and have to think on which way someone said it to me.

Actually I really don't have
that much of a dominating personality. I'm actually pretty meek and submissive. But my definition is probably different.
I wouldn't say it makes me more dominating though. It just pisses me off, so it might make be more aggressive, but not more dominating.
Compared to most people I'm around I'm actually quite the submissive doormat. But it's actually always been in my nature to be passive and submissive. I just don't tolerate bullshit and, seeing as this is the internet, I see a lot of bullshit. That and I'm kind of, you know, insane. So I can see how I'd come off as being dominating but really it's just me upset at something. That and, seeing as how this is the internet and I don't have a problem speaking (like I do in real life) and I like fucking with people. I can come off as dominating but it's just that I'm sort of converting my passive demeanor of "leave me alone" to a more aggressive "piss off, motherfucker" demeanor. Or something like that.
I suppose I should clarify what I meant really... it bothers me when people use those words in debates or discussions where they disagree with me. That's what really bothers me. And as for them calling me a pet name in a PM without having my permission... well that's just not good manners. If you're going to introduce yourself then don't get so familiar with me. It's just stupid and annoying.
Now, in a teasing manor, I can deal with pet names. I've had people call me everything under the sun in a teasing manor. Although, there are some names, teasing or not, I refuse to be called (and those are slut and whore, by the way).
So it's just a matter of telling the difference. There's a reason I've never called some people out on calling me pet names. Of course most people don't notice it because why should they? So long as it's good natured and just teasing I can deal with pet names. So long as it's not affectionate or condescending. So it just depends who's saying, the context, and the moment they're saying it.
I suppose I should have explained that more clearly to begin with but well i didn't really feel like it. XD

I understand where you're coming from but, yeah it's everywhere.
I use people's names in my responses when I'm close to that person or want to comfort them more or personalize it, I don't know.
The only time it bothers me is when it's a 12 year old trying to appear older or something.

And there's nothing wrong with that itself. Like I said if it's meant to be comforting or sympathetic, that's one thing.
