A lot of people are here saying that the "Past is the past and is a part of the individual" as if it were something that can be just shrugged off and easily forgotten, yet if I were to state the one thing I have never told anyone on this forum...non of you would ever treat me the same way again; most would probably laugh. The past is the past, but it doesn't stop the vast majority of people from judging the individual, regardless of how much they've changed or how they've made an effort to change their lives.

Anyway, Sarah; you're a lovely girl. Fantastic even. Don't let the childish behaviour of one person bring you down. I've no idea how close you were to this particular guy, but to be perfectly honest if he's still judging you harshly based on what you said, then he's simply not worth spending any time with. You've got plenty of friends, both real life and here, who love and respect you for who you are.

I get your point actually, there's things from my past that I'm so ashamed of that I've never told any of my friends apart from Joe of course. I think he's a bit of an idiot to judge you on something that's already happened about 7years ago, at the same time people say shit stuff, people will always be dickheads, you'll just have to tell him how you feel about what he said and work on where to go with your friendship from there.
