Anyways, let me help you out here. You got a C in APUSH, right? You complained about him having six options per question on his tests? That is odd, usually you get 5, but hey, it's only one more option, not that bad. AP questions are tricky, he's getting you ready for the exam.
Also, you say that you study 2-3 hours for his tests. I hope you mean per night, or that you have two tests a week. At the very least, I spend double that in prep for a regular class's test, triple that if it's an honors or AP (with the exception of math).
And you're complaining about 50% of your grade being tests? I have courses where tests are 60% of your grade. In college, it's even worse! There are some classes where you only have two tests, a Midterm exam which is worth approximately 40-50% of your grade, and a final exam which is worth approximately 50-60% of your grade. These two tests determine everything. You either know the material at the end of the class or you don't, and your grade reflects that. My point is that if you plan to go to college (which since you're taking AP classes, I assume you're doing) you better get used to this, because it's downhill from here.
But yeah, I know how you feel in terms of your grades. I usually get A's with one or two B's each semester, however this year I have mostly B's, with one or two A's each semester. Just try to work hard, and above all, don't let one course cut into your others. I made that mistake this term, and I may get one or two C's this semester even. Good thing I have a few A's in challenging courses.

My school mandates 7 class periods a day.. So I take 5 year round courses, and two electives. Its hard, yes, but its possible to get through.
CLASS OF 2014, WE LIVE DOE.
believe me semester courses are worse. A year's worth of shit is crammed into one 6 month semester, oh and then you forget everything when you have to take spanish 2 or algebra 2, etc.

Do you get a gpa boost for AP classes? That could help if you do.
no :(

First of all, you have 5 subjects per semester!? IN HIGHSCHOOL!? I had 12...
But really, don't stress, just relax. Ugh, I wish I had 5 subjects...
wtf, 12? really? i wonder how that works.

I used to have 12 classes, 8:30 to 18:30 everyday, heaven.
nooooooooo, it barely affects your grade at all because the test are weighed. it's simple math.
