I'm deeply against gayness, yet, I don't tell my view of it wherever I go, but this really started to get on my nerves.....
I know it's kinda irritating to gays to be bullied about gayness, but it is also irritating to those who stand against that concept to be fed up with gayness stuff wherever they go! and that started to go ridiculous with me frankly! I mean gayness stuff always pops into our faces in movies, tv, articles, forums....everywhere! But getting an advertisement for some stupid gay love book on a reading website is just way over the line, and it's frankly so irritating! I mean I expected to see gayness everywhere but in books! Where the most decent form of knowledge is saved!
Plus, it's not really wise to make this whole propaganda for this concept which billions of people disagree with! Some people have little kids who want them to be safe from such concepts, and I think those people who make this propaganda for gayness should have a bit of respect for that at least!
They stick it all at your nose, and when you renounce it, they just start talking about how ignorant you are, and call you a bigot!
It would be ironic to have someone in the next few years calling you ignorant for renouncing their sexual orientation towards monkeys!!!

I agree with you, I know bullying is a very very serious thing but also everyone is going way overboard with it. Same with Breast Cancer things, I mean i get it's serious and HORRIBLE but Id much rather give money towards sick/dying/abused kids or something on my bag of chips and batteries, Yes it's a horrible cancer but at least your a grown woman at that time.. I think there should be way more things for kids =/

I don't think people that are against homophobia can be the same as people that are homophobic. Homophobic people in the past (when it was more commonplace) would have stopped people from airing gay points of view, whereas now it is the non-homophobic people (now that it is more commonplace) that are stopping the homophobic people from airing their point of view. It's still oppression based on what is accepted by society.
There so many books/films etc for "normal" straight relationships so why not for gays? Okay so it can be shoved in people's faces a little bit but that's just the way it is. I have no problem with gay people or their need to get through life happily. Okay so they can keep it to themselves sure, but I don't get why people care so much. Focus on your own happiness and leave other people be? Don't see how it's irritating. You see "marry a Russian slut" adverts all over the place but you worry about children seeing something that's just natural to some people.
Another thing to consider is that it comes down to money too. People want to hit new target audiences and it may just happen they need to hit that area more. People want to suck the money out of you and targeting a minority group with great new books and stuff for them will increase sales. Advertising is the way to spread the word.
