*Carrying out sexist ideologies and beliefs as we continue to pass them down generation to generation
*Suppressing the needs of the minority, working against equality.
*Understanding that customs and practices in other cultures foreign to us are not weird or disgusting they’re just different.
*Understanding that we’re brainwashed into believing a lot of things from the moment we’re born and not everything we’re taught holds truth to it.
*Understanding that every kind of love whether it’s a family bond, two
people of the same sex or two people of the opposite sex is beautiful.
*Understanding that any ignorance we carry out will affect the younger generation and thus continue to flourish in our society.

Maybe so, but ones believing in a part of natural humanity like ignorance is just as much ignorant to the fact that it's not going to change. Ignorance is always going to happen just like we're always going to be mad, and we're always going to be sad. The world is always going to have ugly parts to it, we're bound to just accept it. We cannot remove all harmful things from life, if we did it'd be bloody boring. And aiming for something unable to ever be fixed and failing is going to be just as much of A failure, not to be confused with calling you a failure or something.

The world can be eventful and interesting without a lot of the B.S we have in society today such as racism, homophobia, sexism <-- Because those sociological problems make the world so exciting. -sarcasm-
The world is becoming and increasing crappier place, people have been ignorant for, well forever. Since we started. Like, example religion and God. People have disliked, hated, mocked, etc etc and how many much more horrible things like torture and death over it for how many thousands of years? it's not going to change. Sure, it'd be epic if the world could actually be a happy place and not boring as crap, but it's not. We cannot change all things and save all hurt like we wish we could. There's been ignorance in religion for thousands and thousands of years, it aint bout to change.
Working to better the world, all for it. No doubt there. Hate to see people hurting. But to hope for a world completely without any of this is ignorance.

hopefully as the older generations die off the some of the judgmental, racism crap will die off too.. it's more accepted in todays society then say even 10 years ago.. so maybe eventually we'll get there.
and i also agree with stior, the world wouldn't be a "boring" place if these things changed. think of all the things that COULD be done if people could just get along without judging someone for their opinions or beliefs.
will we ever be in a world where none of this exists? of course not, so does that mean you just shouldn't even try? if that was the case we should just go ahead and start ignoring all the poverty, child abuse, etc. because those issues will never be completely resolved so no point in wasting our time in trying to make a difference. yeah i didn't think so.
