Ugh! So, today, I got some people in trouble that I really didn't want to, but I'm tired of the comments about my weight.

After asking these two people constantly to stop, they just keep on, like it's a joke. It kind of was at first until it turned into an every day thing. Today, when I went into the breakroom for lunch, this guy turned to me laughing and said: "You make me hungry every time I see you because you are soooo thin, starving even."

I was gobsmacked because he'd made comments before about how I was skinny and how he bets that I never eat anything, but that was just low and uncalled for. I've asked him to stop numerous times, but he doesn't.

I was trying to keep my cool and I told him that it wasn't funny. He laughed and tried to shrug it off. I told him again that it wasn't funny and he laughed some more, like I was making a joke. I finally got loud and told him to stop and that it wasn't funny!

He very rudely told me that he thought we were friends and that he thought that this was all a joke. Um, no. What part of it's not funny don't you understand? Especially when I've told you multiple times to stop. There is another lady that does it, too, but not on a large scale.

He did this in front of other team members, including one of my former cashiers. She was trying to calm me down when my boss approached us and asked what was wrong. I told her and she wanted me to report it to Human Resources because that isn't cool. It is hurtful and it is considered harassment. It pissed her off, too. So I did. I reported both people. I feel kind of bad, but damn. I just want them to know that I'm serious and how much it hurts me to hear the things they say every day.

Sigh. :(

I know exactly how you feel. I'm thin, too, and my siblings (and sometimes even my dad) will make stupid comments similar to the one that the guy made about you. They will laugh, but I don't find these "jokes" funny.

I'm sorry that happened, it's not exactly a confidence boost when someone says something like that.
Just ignore them.
If you're happy with who you are and how you look, then don't let anyone convince you otherwise
