I was complaining to my mom that I've been scheduled to work on my birthday for the first time in my life this year....

And she laughed and told me, "that means you're a grown up now".

If that means I'm a grown up - I don't want to be one.

Unfortunely, it's the real world.

Aww...that's not very fun :(.

But in truth, she's right. Being an adult means taking care of adult matters; even if you have to work on your birthday. The adult world, especially in America, really leaves no room for fun :(. That's why you need to cherish your childhood as much as you can!

That sucks :( I hope you still enjoy your birthday regardless!

Sigh... Its just the notion of having to work and having to manage a bunch of clowns on my birthday doesn't sound appealing. lol
