I've been hiking for two weeks in a row, burning 400-500 calories a day, eating around 1300 calories a day, and I've gained a pound. That's it. I give up. I'm sick and tired of trying to improve myself and getting shit in return. Forget it. I'll starve myself to death. But in doing that I'd probably become obese.

Fuck life. Nothing ever works out for me.

I didn't meant to post it on the chat thread...I'm not sure what I was thinking .

I'm not improving if I'm gaining weight. I don't care if I gain muscle; I'll look leaner then. But I look as if I've gained fat; my stomach is bigger than normal. I just don't understand. I give up. I really do. I might as well starve to death.

You are missing the point weight doesn't matter it's the amount of fat and muscle

For the stomach thing your brain is hurting you it hasn't really gotten bigger but you think it has so you see it like that

Muscle is what you want to gain as well as lose fat

@aubrin weight does matter. I weigh a lot to begin with, and now that I've gained a pound, it's going to be harder for me to find new clothes...and trust me, my stomach has gotten bigger. I just feel so helpless. I can't even lose weight. It's as if God is punishing me for still being alive.

@aubrin I'm not ignoring you. I'm telling you that I have, somehow, gained fat. My stomach is larger, and it isn't just my imagination. I wish it were :(. Maybe I just need to eat all fruits and vegetables for the next few weeks. I don't know!
