Default Prom after party...

So yeh! Prom was a blast, it was truly amazing, I felt 'attractive' for once, my date loved her corsage, the DJ was epic. Got two lovely photos with my friends.

After party was good I guess. Just some little things that infuriate me to the extent of just boiling over...

People were drunk... I think me and my friend Todd were the only people who were drinking who were actually rational. See I don't mind drunk people at all to be honest, but when people start saying shit about you etc. it pisses me off, but that's not the worst thing, this was the least thing that annoyed me.

Kia was being a prick... I don't even know why she was there to be honest, she doesn't even talk to the person who hosted the party. Maybe I'm paranoid, but she always seemed within 2 meters of me and my date and making snide little comments.

My best friends boyfriend. I'll put it bluntly, he's dim. I'm not an elitist wanker (most of the time) but when people can't do the simplest task on his own and expects me to walk him through shit constantly it gets on my tits. He couldn't get a corsage on his own, he wanted me to pick out his suit (and sizes) and constantly wants to copy my coding project. He was whining on all night about drunk people and how he doesn't want his GF near them (He's really fucking controlling) saying how he's going to knock someone out and shit...and it's just like "Dude shut the fuck up". Sorry to sound like a pretentious twat.

I was meant to stay, but a lot of the girls (who are the bitchy lot including Kia) couldn't manage to walk 4 doors down the road where they were meant to be staying. I didn't really feel comfortable with sleeping in the same room as her.

One of the girls uncles was there and he has his own computer shop and is going to give me a summer job, so that's good. Also I walked my friend home who was feeling ill at 4 oclock in the morning and made sure he was okay and all that so feel good for that.

It's now 10:49 AM. I've been awake since 8 AM on Friday. I'm not tired though.

There's no TL;DR sorry.... :O

drunk people are weird as fuck and i totally know what you mean, those who can't pace themselves or control themselves on alcohol are extremely annoying at parties. and put everyone there at risk including themselves...

i think it is a great thing that you controlled yourself haha it is so much better watching a party knowing that your not going to hate yourself in the morning and have like 1000 regrets.

i wouldn't worry too much about drunk people coming onto other people. like of course that happens but i think drunk people randomly puking all over the place, breaking shit, or hurting themselves falling is a lot more likely to occur than the drunk person successfully hooking up with someone.
at least that is what i have noticed in my personal studies of my drunk friends

why didn't you feel comfortable sleeping in the same room as her?
i think you should've focused more on your date who made you feel good rather than the bitchy Kia chick

Well I was paying 99% of my attention to her, but when there's someone that you've had history with and it isn't too good and they're hovering around and stuff, it's just awkward

yeah dude i feel it, i would just try to avoid her and find things to distract you like your friends, your date, how much fun your having ect.

don't dwell on the past! your ex is an ex for a reason, remember that.
