Default For Guys

If you met somebody who you have strong feelings for, but they had a previous commitment before you met them (10 months) and you tried to forget about them and had a relationship with somebody else for 2 months but ended up still thinking about that person but the person is still in the relationship. What would you do?

I'm not a complete faggot so I'm not just going to mess around with their relationship.
You talk to the person all of the time and there is a spark between both of you.
I've been to a party with her and she came onto me but I refused because I'm good mates with her boyfriend.

Well to be honest, if she's taken, then she's taken, it could make things awkward between both you and her, and you and her boyfriend (who you're friends with, right?) if you broke up with your current girlfriend and tried to get with her. Mind, if you're not committed to your current girlfriend then it's probably not worth staying in the relationship because if you're not committed, then as time goes by it's just going to be a countdown to breaking up, and the longer it takes, the more painful it will be.

So if you think you can be committed and are happy with your girlfriend by all means stay with her, but if the committment isn't there then I think you shouldn't bother with the relationship as it'll go nowhere. That's just my opinion though.

Personally, if she has a boyfriend then she is totally off limits for the whole time they are together and getting between them is the wrong thing to do. If it really wasn't working with the girlfriend of two months then I would break it off with her rather than just being with someone for the sake of it and take my mind off the other girl. I would be perfectly happy staying single and waiting to see to see whether my feelings change and I stop liking the girl I can't have or whether she becomes single and I can think about making a move. But if we are really close friends then staying close friends may work out better than being in a relationship and it coming to and end one day and losing that friendship.
