However, I agree with Marietta, she doesn't know yet. She may have feelings for you, but she may need more time to think before she wishes to give you a direct answer.

Well we always knew each other like, but then ever since we started college together (which i think is the same as high school in america?) we've been spending alot more time together and well became kinda close friends, if that helps at all? haha

If she didn't like you I don't see why she would have stressed that the answer isn't "no" either. She's just not sure what she wants yet. Give her time. Hah and if that was some round about way of telling you she doesn't like you it'd be very cruel. So I think thats not very likely (:
I think she probably likes you, she probably just hasn't fully realised that yet. I know she's confusing you but she's probably pretty unsure of herself. And it might even be that she knows she likes you but she's not sure if she's up for it, cause with guys comes drama
Just wait it out for a bit and then ask her if she will let you know when she is ready and don't obsess over it, its only gonna do your head in!

I think your question was what to do about it, and unfortunately the answer is as simple: Depends on how you can live with being with someone who hasn't decided what she feels for you.
Typical Girl answer, basically it could mean she likes you, but as friends, not as love, or it could mean she doesnt want to break ur heart, but since shes a good friend I dont think the latter is true
