I got a new girlfriend on July 11th. She makes me very happy. She's so sweet she drew a picture of us as cartoons holding hands and put in on facebook. I have been kinda lonely lately. As some of you may know, I was at kind of a dark place in my life. My life has been getting better lately. I have a decent job, great girl, I am attempting to quit smoking with the help of nicotine gum.

I'm just hoping this feeling lasts. Last time my life seemed to be improving was about a year ago. I had a girlfriend I thought I was really in love with (I know it seems like every teenager says this about their gf, but I really wanted to marry her) had a job, and moved out of my moms house. Last August she broke up with me(took me months to get over her), I was arrested for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and my hours were cut back at work when I really needed money.

But that's all in the past, now. I am staying optimistic.

I'm glad for you! It sounds like your life is starting to turn in the right direction. Try to use your girlfriend's presence for motivation to stop things that have potential of harming you (ie: shooting up). Congrats on the relationship. I wish you both a long and happy relationship ^.^
