I've been obsessing and crushing over a certain guy I know and I don't really know him but I always had feelings for him and just 2 nights ago, all my dreams were crushed cause I saw him strolling with a girl down my block in the night.... what does that supposed to mean? he dosen't know anything of me, at least I suppose so...

Anyhow, how would you feel??

How would I feel? Lousy. But not as lousy as I would if he knew my feelings about him!

Crushes by definition are based on fantasy and arousal, not reality. So, when something happens that get's in the way, it feels intensely personal...the feelings are based on veeeery personal things you've created, and have nothing to do with reality!

Moral to the story: If you want someone in fantasy, go get them in reality, use your crush as a motivator to get you to make contact IRL.

But you don't even know if this girl is his girlfriend maybe she's just a friend and you getting upset over nothing? Perhaps you should try and get to know him a bit better and then once you've seen what kind of person he is you might feel differently about him.

From past experience, I'd feel really bad at the time, and probably up until I go to bed. When I'd wake up the next day though, it would be different because at first I wouldnt recall it, then when I do remember what happened the pain would be much less severe.

In this situation, you could just have a crush on him because of his looks or what you have seen about him. If you don't know him for real, there may be parts of his personality which clash with you.
