so in person i speak to boys easy i get along really well with them and have a laugh and stuff- ive been told by my friends alot of them think im down to earth and a great girl, but if i ever have a crush or i like them abit- i just dont no what to do? i never ever speak to boys on facebook or msn because i never no what to say or how to make conversation? and most people end up planning to meet and things by this and text but i cant even start a conversation!?
if girl- please could you tell me what you would do?
if boy- what sort of things interest you when a girl speak?
any help would be great thanks

I can talk about anything really... Then again I'm more easy going than alot of people and understanding. Think about what the person you are talking to is interested in. Also ask them questions. If they ask you questions as well it means they are at least interested in talking to you

just say stuff that's happenin in ur life, stuff that's on ur mind .... if the guy likes u it doesn't matter what u say he'll be or at least seem interested ... just don't censor urself at all ... i used to be quiet around girls like censoring every word i thought and wouldn't say anything ... girls would aask my friends why i was sooo quiet and they would say idk he usually talks tons ... if he's a jerk and says what ur talking about is stupid then screw him he's just a jerk ... trust me, just be urself, say what's on ur mind

you can literally talk about anything to a guy, it won't matter the topic as much as the companionship

Lucy! You're in luck being a girl and all....guys like girls, and whenever they're shown attention from one, they just suck it up. (Don't ask me why I'm talking 3rd person here, either).

So, your task is to not let your feelings of liking them get in the way, try to remember that those feelings are private and personal and no one knows them but you, so you're OK. People tend to shut down when they like someone b/c they feel vulnerable, they are more prone to taking whatever happens personally. That's normal, it's self protective, but the way to switch that off is to remember that they don't really know what's going on in your head...AND..that it would be really nice to make them a new friend, so both of those lubricate the social machinery there, and with it, your courage.

When you talk with said member of the male species, remembering we all like to talk about ourselves, just ask us something you think we'd like to talk about, and we do the rest! Find out what interests your guy has, and ask about it.
