In my opinion, they don't work.
I think unless both have money to make regular visits, it can't work. Obviously there's exceptions, before people throw examples of great long distance relationships at me.
Of course it's your opinion and I respect that but what I meant was that just because you failed doesn't mean everyone else will. So by using the fact you failed as a reason to why they don't work just didn't look right to me.

You shouldn't be in a relationship like that... that's just idiotic.. it's not really a relationship it's just wanting emotional company at all times, irl he has other ones, at night he comes to you etc. idiotic. Get yourself a real relationship where he will make you feel good and special and that.
