I think you should hang out more as friends till you get to know him. You're basing feelings off of very little...which you can get lust feelings at the start but they could just be lust cause he's new and seems nice and cute and all that, and then you get to know him and you're not really that into him. If you jump right away and go on dates and that you're kinda getting yourself in a sticky situation where you will get infatuated possibly. So, my advice, hang out with more friends till you get to know him before you go on a date.
