Today I was walking through my gym to get to the locker room. As I was walking, in front of me, were 2 girls doing stretches or crunches. When I was within viewing distance they immediately stopped what they were doing and just looked at me, but almost as if they were interested in me.

So just out of curiousity, what does this mean? It's happened before, like when I lift weights or just run the track. Am I really that attractive, that I make girls stop what there doing to look at me? I was just wondering since I don't know what goes on in the mind of a female lol.

I always hear about girls doing the short glance and then turn away, but is this type of stare different?

It depends on the person, since no one is the same. Maybe they find you attractive, maybe they find you weird.
If you're curious, just go and talk to them.

I don't have the courage to go up to them lol. Its probably because I have no idea what to say. I usually just go on my way.

Well, next time that happens, try and smile to them. If they smile back, they want to talk to you they will smile back. If they want to talk to you but are shy, they will smile but turn their heads away fast.
If they do nothing, than they're simply not interested.

If you want to talk to them, make an observation about something they're wearing or their looks and compliment them. Like if she has good hair just say "Hello, I'm Mike. You have gorgeous hair!". Anything completely random, if not too weird, usually works.

It could be that they saw you looking at them, and that's a look to say "stop looking"
It could mean "come on over and say hi"

Every girl is different, we aren't all thinking the same.

As J0hn said just smile, and if they are interested in you then they can come over and say hi

I'll try smiling, actually that comes naturally. Yeah, I have nothing to lose though, so I'll give it a shot.

When i first read this the first thing that hit my mind was. These girls where doing stretches and crunches and what not. And you come close to em, and i will assume you where looking at them.

So maybe they started looking at u cuse you where looking at them? Idk i wasn't there and this is really a shot in the dark. All the advice above is pretty good, so if im dead wrong then the answer is up there =D



Now i will say there are mainly two types of girls. The shy ones and the not shy ones. The not shy ones should be able to look right at you like these girls did. There's also the shy ones that prob look at you until you look at them, then they look away. Hope that helps in the future.
