Welcome! I've seen too many of these forums and there are none with military relationships. My name is Victoria and I'm eighteen years old. My boyfriend graduated Marine Corps bootcamp as a PFC and just left for MOS training. He's an EOD. (Basically, he blows things up all day.) He left on Monday (two days ago) and when he comes home in November, I'll be in bootcamp already. I also joined the Marine Corps and I leave for bootcamp on October seventeenth. When I come home from bootcamp in mid-January, he'll already be gone again and on base wherever he's stationed (neither of us know where that will be yet.) But, ten days after bootcamp, I go to my MOS training for MI (militarty intelligence.) So, long story short, we won't see each other for over a year and I just wanted to know if anyone else is going through the same thing. We write to each other and video chat and talk on the phone, but it's not the same. I really miss him. We've been together since before he was in bootcamp (about four months.) Just looking for someone to talk to about it who knows what I'm going through or if anyone has questions.
