Well, honestly, if I liked someone, i'm the type of person to never tell them
It's kinda sad really. I don't tell them, eventually the crush fades and I eventually move on with my ol life. Teehee. (:
What would you do if there's someone you like? Do you just ignore the feeling or do you get the guts to tell them you like them? And if so, do you do it in person? (;
In the past I was the same - crushed on people, but never told them. I told other people, who would usually go and tell my crush, with that normally ending the friendship with them; not that I'm complaining mind you, because looking back it was all just silly. That was at High School though, and I didn't particularly have good self-esteem or confidence back then. College simply provided no opportunity to date, so I guess in a way it gave me the chance to improve myself. There was only one other girl I would have considered dating "recently", and by that I mean a year, but looking back it wouldn't have worked; she's long gone and I'm soooo glad I didn't.
I took a huge risk with @LaurenTheNerd, and it's fortunate it paid off; there was just something about her and how we communicated together that I hadn't experienced with anyone else. I (we?) admit it was very early, but at the end of the day things have progressed fairly well and that's all we can hope for really.

D'AWH (: So you're the "Kirk" that she has in her pm, thats real cute, real cute (:
I usually tell girls that I find attractive that I'm interested in them at social events like parties. I find that the casual and laid back atmosphere makes it easier and provides an opportunity to move on with the conversation, such as asking them to dance or go away for a talk somewhere more private.
It's really different with girls I genuinely like though. I do try to tell them by subtly dropping hits here and there. When we talk I usually try to act confident and casual but I muck it up and get tongue tied and I blank out, leading to lulls in the conversation. It gets really annoying but I can't control it haha
Sophisticated ignorance, write my curses in cursive

I just keep it quiet, aaaaaall the time. Except once- I've told one person, which wasn't great because it was my best friends boyfriend... it was after her told me he liked me.
Maybe after that situation, I don't tell people I like them... or in case of awkward situations or if they have a girlfriend I don't know of.
