In terms of appearance, mannerisms and that sort of thing? And yes I know there are already a billion threads on this, but if I posted in those old threads people would accuse me of Necromancy which is a worse crime than creating a duplicate thread.

Loads of things. As far as looks go... tall, dark hair, brown eyes, olive or tan skin, looks like a taller and masculine version of me.
Also, Dominating, kinda sadistic, a smart-ass, sarcastic, intelligent but not an elitist kind. Conservative, and preferably religious.
Likes Animals. Esp. dogs.

Is just as weird, if not weirder, as I am. Preferably with a more aggressive-assertive personality though - since I tend to be sorta passive. I need someone who can ease me into situations without forcing me to do it.

Someone authoritative and kind. A leader, willing to take charge. Someone who commands authority but who doesn't force people to do things they don't want to do. Someone who is old fashioned. A gentleman but not too much of a nice guy. I like a guy who can be nice and a jerkass.

Someone who likes to roughhouse. Preferably someone who's into BDSM, for extra fun. I like someone who's a little kinky.

Oh and above all else, someone who is totally monogamous and who'll respect me and who'll never suggest anyone else getting involved in the relationship.

At least, that's me.

Um.. I suppose a good personality, a sense of humour, someone kind/caring? I'd like a guy who doesn't rush me into anything and is fun to be around, who laughs with me, not at me all the time.
Also, I personally, like when guys have long-ish hair I have no preference on looks, but longer hair is a bonus.

I just thought... I've seen loads of threads like this one, about what a girl looks for in a guy, but how many have there been about what guys look for in a girl..? I haven't seen any so far, but then again I probably didn't look properly

Now, a lot of people will give you loads of damn lists about what they look for in a guy, but when things come right down to it, they won't give much of commitment to those lists, anyway.

There's a concept in life called sacrifice, and if we don't sacrifice, we never get what we want. When love comes, a lot of sacrifices come within. People like to think about the ideal person they dream of, but they will never find one, so once they feel that they've found love, they might sacrifice a lot of the descriptions they put on their list, and that's what happened with me once. So, don't care too much about what girls look for in a guy, because you will never be able to have them all. You should always be who you are, and if a girl will ever love you, that will be the reason really.

I think a very interesting thing that girls might look for in a guy is confidence. You should have confidence in yourself, no matter who you are, or what qualities you have.

I could give you every little detail of my dream guy, but as Syrian said, with love comes sacrifices. You're not supposed to have every need and small thing completely fulfilled by your lover, you have to understand there's things about your lover that won't fill the needs you need, and you have to find that in other people or things to fulfill your life. So many divorce because of that.

But basic things I like in a guy is I want a country guy who likes outdoors/country/animals/farming type. That's kind of a biggy for me because I just like the personalities that come with those type people, and I don't ever want to live in a city/suburbs. After that, willing to learn sign language. Wants kids. Can make me laugh. Respectable. Good strong independent man who'll be someone my kids WANT to look up to. Old fashioned take things slow open car door for you type. and he has to be manly and want to treat his woman like she's special and the only girl in the world.

A lot of what I ask for sounds really detailed but Ive dated a lot and Ive learned what type of guy I need more so rather then want.. I doubt myself a lot so i need someone who can make me laugh and treat me special. and then basically children are really important to me, so I want to make sure they will have a good father.
