hi guys, i'm jon and this is my first thread on the site.
ok, so there's this girl i like. a lot. we aren't in the same class at school, but i see a lot of her at break. she's a quiet girl, but i get on with her quite well and she's really nice. it may just be me ut i think she likes me. the little touches, she seems to be looking at me quite a bit. at parties we have been quite close and she doesn't seem to mind. out of school, however, we don't talk that much at all. i want to speak to her by text or facebook, but i'm worried to send that first message. i have done once or twice and lthough she does speak, she seems to cut it short and leave. so really, i just need some advice. actually, a lot of advice. help!
It could just be that she's shy and doesn't know what to say, and therefore cuts coversations short to avoid awkward moments. You could also be misreading the signs, some people are more comfortable about physical contact with friends than others, girls can be pretty hard to read sometimes.

It sounds like she cuts off because she is shy and maybe likes you. I would text, or facebook her a few times. After she warms up to it, she will be more comfortable.
Well, there's one good way to solve this. Ask her if she wants to hangout with you sometime out of school. If you have mutual interests that would be a great start for a date idea.
Right , so I texted her. We had a nice conversation actually and she seemed pretty talkative. It's not much, but it's a start ... I hope you guys don't mind if I bore you about the developments lol...
