Default The Awkward Phase

Hey everyone,

So, I recently started dating this girl from school. Before we were dating, we hadn't been friends for more then 2 weeks. However, we always had little trouble finding things to come up with to talk about.

How do I alleviate the awkwardness of the first few weeks of a relationship?

haha if you don't have chemistry, then how is there a connection at all? It should be natural. Just talk about things that interest you, I guess.

I'm going to be blunt and say this now; don't waste anymore time and end it.
I know from personal experience that if anything is awkward between a couple and you're having trouble finding something to talk about, then the relationship is likely to fall apart sooner than later, and not always very well.
Actually, just 3 days ago one of my friends broke up with her boyfriend because they were just too awkward around eachother; they couldnt come up with anything to talk about when they were alone or they just didnt know what to do and ended up sitting next to eachother staring into space. It eventually ended in some stupid fight.

If you want, maybe give it a week or two, but if nothing changes then don't waste anymore time

I'm not going to do what the others did and just shrug it off. At least give him ideas for and against guys...

At the moment, you don't know what eachother likes to talk about, their interests perhaps. Even so I doubt you've gone very deep at this stage. The awkwardness could just be lack of confidence. You just need to find your feet

Be spontanious do something unexpected you can hang out with her at a theme park or something that will get you both laughing.

If you have nothing to talk about then talk about some random stuff
