Hi, first post so bare with me.

Basically, I really like this girl in my school she is in the year/grade below. but only 5 months younger.

I speak to her on facebook virtually everyday and we have videochatted 2/3 times now.

I hardly ever see her in school, but if I see her she might tap me on the shoulder and say hi.

Two main problems, I usually walk with my friends home from school, and it would look dodgy if I go with her instead. I only done that once and we had a five minute chat that went ok.
So how do I talk to her more in real life, and can I do it without it looking wierd?

Secondly, I have no idea if she likes me or if shes just being friendly. I'm ok friends with her, how can I take it to the.next level?

She probably likes you a bit more. Girls don't usually tap you and say hi just to say hi when you're just friends. At least, that's what I know from my experiences. And why should it look dodgy? Tell your friends that you really like this girl, and if they tease you, then that's fine. But atleast they'll understand why you might want to spend more time with her

Thanks for the reply, but my friends are annoying when it comes to girls, they just make it really obvious.

And my friends don't think she's goodlooking but I do, so yeah they will tease me

Have you tried asking her if she wants to go out to the cinema with you or something? you can sit with her at lunch?

With your friends just ignore them, you are doing something that makes you happy so they will just have to deal with it

How can I ask her without it sounding like I'm asking her on a date?

As for the lunch idea, I've never seen her eat lunch in the canteen, I think she brings her own food

i guess she likes you a bit. maybe being her friend a little bit longer will be nice. get to know her well before you tell her how do you feel.

Mate, you're 16. If she likes you, just talk to her. Walk with her a bit. You don't have to stalk her and/or ditch your friends, but just chat her up occasionally.
