I dated him in July 2011, online and then he met another girl in person. He started acting really weird so then I just dumped him because he told me about the girl he met and I suspected he lost interest. We remained good friends and still told each other everything. I even tried to get back together with him because I kind of regretted dumping him but he said "no, maybe when we graduate high school".

Eventually a month after we broke up he told me that he started liking the girl he met in the summertime. I was a little jealous but I just wanted to see him happy so I told him to take it slow and that she might just be using him. So eventually I just moved on. And I told my ex that I was dating a new guy and he was like, "damn, he's really lucky" "i wish i was him" "i'm so happy for you". And around the same time his crush played him, like I thought she would and was dating another guy the whole time.

So I went to the hospital because I attempted suicide over stress at the end of September for about 2 weeks. And when I came back he was really depressed, kept ignoring me, saying I was annoying and overall being really mean. He also kept bragging about these 2 girls that he met and even said one of them was prettier than me. All I can say for now is, we don't talk anymore. And I don't understand, what went wrong?

i don't understand.. perhaps you just have to ignore him. he played you, his crush played him. sounds quite fair. when he said, "i wish i was him", i guess he just said it but he didn't mean it since he dumped you when you tried to get back with him. by the way, if that girl is prettier than you, so what? you're still pretty even though not to his eyes. he has no right to judge you.
