ive been with my girlfriend for a month. today a mutual friend told me that he herd her say that im not the guy that she has fallen hardest for.. it was a guy about a year ago. What does this mean? should i end it even though i still want to be with her?

Maybe you should talk to her about this first?

Why would you end it just because someone told you about it? Don't put your relationship at risk just because of something you're not even sure about. People tell a lot of bullshit to pull people down and destroy other's happiness. It could be true, but does it matter that much afterall? If she loves you now, don't throw it away. But if it really bothers you that much, tell her about it calmly. In my opinion though, it's not a very essential detail. *shrugs* If you're happy together, that's what matters, no?

was she ever in a relationship with this other guy?, it's worth finding out more before ending it.

im 100% sure she said this. we are happy togeather but she dated this guy (not official) for a few months before he broke up with her and we started talking

If you're really bothered by it, then confront her about it. But calmly; and see how it goes from then on.

i cant confront her without breaking a promise to my good friend and im not going to do that

You can't hold that grudge hidden for long or that will completely ruin the relationship.
Try to talk to your friend about it then and tell him/her you have to, for the sake of your relationship withyour girlfriend. If she's/he's really your friend, he should understand and respect that.
