Icon9 Broken into little pieces deep inside

So I have this friend that I have been obsessed with for over a year now. I have tried asking her out twice, both times she turned me down and on the second time she said that she would "never" like me that way.
That was in July and I am still heartbroken because of it, no matter what I do, I can't get over it. I can't even like anyone else because she is all I think about. I also don't want to lose her as my friend but if I can't get over this then I will and if that happens, I may lose all my friends.
I have tried not seeing her for awhile but as we are both part of the same group of friends I see her all the time and it even ended up being just me and her out a few days ago because no one else came out and it almost completely destroyed me inside, physically, mentally and emotionally.
So my question is, how do I get out of this spiral, before I hit the ground? :'(

Well, as they say, "Time heals all wounds". This is an example of a wound that will heal in time. So I suggest that you give it some time. It might seem like it will never go away but it will. But don't let the pain overwhelm you every single moment of your life. Do something to take your mind it as often as possible. Find a new hobby and do that. Hang out with your other friends more. Do things that make you happy. Find people you can talk to. And soon, time will be flying and when you're ready you can move on and find a girl that does like you for who you are. So just try to keep busy and soon enough you'll find yourself liking someone else.

I tend to find the only thing I truly enjoy is playing games, I just hope it stops before the Summer, I'm suppose to go on holiday with my friends :/ And I rather doubt I will, I am really ugly! I was actually unsure if I should have posted this in here, or in the depression one

I have had the same problem multiple times myself. There isn't really all that much you can do but wait. After a while, the pain will fade, even if it will be a long process. You will find a new girl you fall for and then it will fade like snow in a heatwave.

It's alright in this section

I mean, Even if it's not something you particularly enjoy, doing something will keep your mind off of it. That's the main goal. Find something that keeps your mind off of her. And It'll all end up okay eventually. I do hope it goes away before Summer though Wouldn't be a good thing if you it bothered you while you were on holiday.

It might bother you a little bit right now, but it will certainly go away by time.

By the way, I like your username, and it is true.

It's really the time for humanity to take a dump.
