So, the other day I was sitting with my 3 friends. 2 boys and 1 girl. One of them named Josh was telling me how he was over his ex girlfriend. Here was the conversation from the middle:

Josh "there is some other girl I like"
Me "really who?"
Josh *points to me* "do you want to go out?"
Me" Ill have to think about it"
Josh "Just remember I am over her"

So first of all (I am 3 inches taller that him. Just though you'd might like to know cause its funny) anyway, I don't know if I should say yes. His ex is my friend, and she told me I should not go out with him if he ever asked. (I think she is jealous of me cause I told her Josh asked me out.) And all of my other friends say I should not go out with him because he is not my type.
I do like him a little. He is a really nice guy but should I say yes even though people tell me I should not (even his ex)? Or should I say no.

If you really like him, you should say yes, even though your friend told you not to. It's your life, not theirs.

However, if you only like him a little, i wouldn't take the risk. It might break apart, and once that happens, you will have a lot of angry friends and nothing to show for it.

If you like him, then I would say yes. You're friend won't hurt too bad and that's kind of an unreasonable demand, in my opinion. Time will heal that wound but don't pass up the chance if you like someone. It will leave you in a "what if" situation and you want to avoid that if possible.
