There is this girl I kinda like. I met her last year when she joined my school mid year. The way I met her is... her mom found out we live on the same street. She asked if I could take her home some days that she could take us to school some mornings. (Neither of us had our licenses then, but we do now).
So we did that carpooling for a while until I got my license. Over the course of that time, I showed mild interest in her (she's super nice) and even asked her to go for a walk with me around the neighborhood a couple times. She said yes both times but then made up some excuse about homework or whatnot. That was last January.
Anyway, I think she just considers me a friend (we only talk occasionally), but I would like to ask her out. Should I go for it? Or just forget about it and move on?
I think before you ask her out, you definitely need to rekindle your friendship. Its been a year, mate. Don't just randomly ask her put, or she'll think you're quite weird

It's not like we never talk or anything. It's a tiny school so we see each other all the time and occasionally talk. So I'm not sure how that would be weird...

Last january man? Pretty worthless putting that in here at this point haha.
You need to get closer and make it obvious that you might be interested in her. That's all.

I get it custom, you a customer
You ain't ‘customed to going through Customs, you ain’t been nowhere, huh?
I say no, don't do it just yet.
You only talk occasionally, so popping the question will weird her out.
First take her places, have more conversations with her, and then think about a relationship.
But don't get friendzoned.
