Re: Online/ long distance relationships
Online relationship? No.
That's not a relationship, that's a fantasy.
Long distance relationship?Maybe.
Provided that they know each other irl and have a means to see each other fairly regularly?Sure.
For example, my cousin met a guy when she was studying abroad for a year. After that year, instead of coming back home she went traveling with him for 3 months. After that, every other month or every 2 months, they took turns making the 10 hour flight between Italy and Ontario for a month at a time, but obviously finances were a big part of that. Flights aren't cheap.
2 years later they moved to France and are living happily ever after.
However they both came from very, very wealthy families whom not only showed tremendous amounts of support of their relationships and gave them places to stay and be together and whatnot, but also spotted them money if they couldn't afford the airline tickets by themselves.
Lots of factors have to be considered.
If you have no means to see each other irl and it's essentially is just a relationship conducted online; also no.
