Well I work in a hotel in england and have developed a crush for a girl who works behind the reception of the hotel. There are hints that she likes me too and the hotel doesn't have any regulations against work romances but this girl and I work with my Aunty and went in today to give my crush a valentine's present but backed out cause my Aunty began asking if I was only at work to flirt with her and then asked why I bought her the present... I told her I wasn't there to flirt and told her the present was none of her business.... Should I go for a relationship with the receptionist or not? Sorry for the long explanation but wanted to give the full info

Absolutely, you should pursue your relationship with the receptionist. Just keep doing your job and don't let it effect your duties at the hotel. It is perfectly ok and really not your aunt's business as long as you do your job.

I would say go for it. I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with doing so and you never know what might turn out from such a relationship. However, I would say that you should be aware of what the situation may be if things do go wrong or you end up with an ugly break up. I don't know how much you have to interact with her. But if she turns you down or you have a nasty break up and you have to see her everyday for work, that might be a situation you might want to avoid. But if you can deal with that and that won't be much of a problem for you, go for it. Good luck.
