Default Good books on science facts

Hi, this summer I'm planning to span my reach about science. I mostly study science, and have 3 AP books to look over/study(Didn't take the AP exams), but since I love reading, I think reading books would be the best way to go. Or course, the internet is the best database, but I can't use the computer all day long, and I think I should consider my eyesight too

The kinds of books I would like to read are....Well, to think of it, I don't know specifically. One of the books I've read is called The Why Files, and I liked it a lot, plus a good amount of imformation. My dad also says the science Dummies series of books are good.

Okay, to conclude.....I guess I'm looking for some easy-to-understand, non-boring, but suitably texted science info books. Anu suggestions would be great.

Also, some internet sites about science facts wouldn't hurt either

Thank you for reading, and have a nice day!

OP said facts, not theories. lol

Could you be a little more specific though, "Science" is a broad term. Astronomy, biology, chemistry, physics, geology, etc.
What kind are you looking for exactly?

I'm reading Richard Dawkins's The God Delusion, but thats a bit off the point

I'm willing to read nearly anything about science, but to narrow it down a bit, mostly about Biology, like animals, cells, the body, etc. Also, some chemistry related to biology(Biochemistry?) And IMP, books like The Why Files have interesting articles about all parts of science; those kinds of books may be the best

Isn't the origin of species an extremly boring book?
Haven't read it myself, but heard from somebody that tried to read it.
