I got as follows:

1 A
4 B's
5 C's
1 D

I got my A and one of my B's in ICT, despite doing fuck all.

I got 2 more B's in English and 1 in Science.

I got my C in maths (FUCKING YES!)

A C in music composition and an A* (A + for Americans.) in practical and theory. My composition pulled my overall grade down to a C, but in my defence we had to do it on some computer instead of just with a piano, which is how I prefer it.

I got another C in additional Science and 2 more C's in Media.

The D was in History, because all though I know about it, I fucking.. hate American History. Which was what the exam was on for fucks sake.

That's an excellent set of results mate. 10 x GCSE A*-C will look very good on a CV. Well done!

Where you off to now, going on to 6th form?

Aye, off to Sixth Form to study Music, English Literature, English Language

I wasn't expecting amazing results in all fairness; I'm not really that intelligent. I'm just so glad I got C's in the core subjects (English, Maths and Science for those who don't know).

I have absolutely no idea how I got a C in D&T, as we spent most of the lessons messing about in a side room copying answers off the board.

German was pretty easy, mainly due to the fact that my teacher was soooo concerned about the results that she helped everyone with their exams. She corrected my assignment so much I got an A for it, and in my speaking exam she started making actions with her hands to indicate what to say. :laugh:

The D's were expected. I never was any good in sports...my theory secured that D to be honest.

I can't believe I failed my ICT though. I succesfully completed 3 modules and failed the forth, therefore failing tne entire course. I was really annoyed with that.

Well done Josh, those are some pretty decent results! They're bound to help secure places in College/University if you plan to study further after Sixth Form.


Sorry for the detailed post. Also, I wasn't too sure if this was for this year's GCSE results or GCSE results in general, so I appologize if I'm off-topic.

Gratz to all, if only for surviving what seems like real torture. I never knew sadomasochism was a part of the British academic system.

And Josh, with all the Yanks here, how could you not only "Hate" anything American, but flunk it?

I just generally dislike America.

Everything about it annoys me greatly.
