Re: Which Are the Most Difficult Languages to Learn??
I've studied 4 languages (I still can't speak French properly but I can read, and I can't write German), but I think the hardest are Arabic or Chinese.

Re: Which Are the Most Difficult Languages to Learn??
Meh, I can hardly retain English. I imagine Arabic though. Generally I can at least tell the difference between lettings in other languages but with Arabic? It's all squiggly lines!
However Sign Language is pretty hard too, esp. if you try to learn them all. Because it's not universal, the deaf just just have their own language, it varies country to country. Sure some of them make some sense but with a lot of it you just wanna go "WTH?! How in the fuck does that sign mean this word?! It doesn't make any sense!"
The only time you can ever get away with learning one and using it in a different country is if you're learning either French or American Sign Language because heck, they are basically the same... or used to be at least, I'm sure sign slang is different, but, eh, you know.
Also... Braille. But is that even really a language?
Meh, I haven't tried to learn too many so I'm not totally sure though.

Re: Which Are the Most Difficult Languages to Learn??
I imagine it would be any language with different symbols/letters.
I find with languages, I can read and write them fine but it's the speaking that gets me. My rather awesome accent doesn't allow for good pronunciation.
Although, the only spoken languages I've ever taken were Maori (Which I can pronounce) and Spanish (I can roll my r's but that's about it)
I'll say, I've never seen or heard the Arabic language but I learnt New Zealand Sign Language when my mother had to and it is so difficult.
