What the hell is a multiplier and how do you find it out in Maths?

The number by which a multiplicand is multiplied?

a multiplier is a number which is multiplied by another number

Example

2 x 2 =
--^ That's the multiplier

It may also be shown in words so;
Two Times Two Equals Four
--------^ This is the miltiplier

If your using a online calculator you will find that the "x" is a "*"
