Psychology AND Drama Therapy?
Ages ago at school, in guidance we were given a website where we could join and answer questions to get some suggestions about what career we could plan to have in the future. This website actually really helped me, as I didn't know what I wanted to do. I was most interested in some of the types of psychologist, but I also liked the look of drama therapy. If anyone doesn't know, drama therapists use drama to help people overcome problems and explore feelings. In the ended, I thought I kind of wanted to be some kind of psychologist. However, today in my performing arts lesson, I was randomly thinking about things and I was thinking how I have a problem which could affect my abilities in drama, but I still do i tand seem to be doing well enough, plus I enjoy doing it. So I was thinking it would be really good to help people who have worse cases of my problem and other problems which could affect their abilities in performing to be able do drama, and I'd love help mentally ill, ect people to express their feelings in a group situation. I would also like to do something more psychology related too though, so I would still quite like to be some kind of psychologist.. Is there any possible way I could maybe do at bit of both? It's not that likely, but I was just wondering.
