WRONG, evolution is simply genetic mutations over time.
Noticing trends of sexuality of organisms, the more primitive the organism, the larger chance it has of asexual reproduction. There is no need for male/female like we see in XX and XY because it doesn't need a partner.
So yes, it is a genetic mutation, but so is the mutation that caused abnormally fast brain growth in human beings.
