Next week I have an Interview to one of the high schools I applied to. I am almost done doing the essay I have to do on why I want to go there. But aside from that, I am so scared. I don't know how it will go. I am so nervous because I don't want to say the wrong thing or make them think I am stupid. Can anyone help or does anyone have advice on how I can be less clam and make the interview go smoothly?

The most popular line of advice, just be yourself. If they want to interview you, that already shows that they are interested. Just be sure to act yourself during the interview and everything will be fine.

To move on is to grow, yet we can barely accomplish either on our own. We know the way to go, yet we follow those with their eyes closed.

Don't act like yourself if yourself is stupid though. Pretend to be positive, hardworking, and all of that crap.

I agree with Nick on this one. Be yourself. Let them know who they're accepting to their school. Look the straight in the eye, firmly shake their hand, and just maintain a good business type ordeal.

Know about the company and what it does so you can explain how you can benefit the company. Show what you can offer the company; not what you want from them.
Be on time. Be friendly and courteous to everyone including the receptionist staff. Be honest but don't bad mouth your past boss, job or employers.

Then after the interview, send a thank note/card that shows your graciousness and also remind them of you. This may sound silly, but try practicing your interview! A lot of times they ask the same questions. That way you will have a little idea of how to answer, and you may not be so nervous.

Try not to be nervous. Be yourself and relax. Chances are you won't say anything terrible and being yourself works best for both sides of this exchange. Good luck
