I’ve got a question related to the subject of my BA thesis, which is: “The politics of terrorism – from extremism activities to terrorism”. I’d like you to consider what’s your first impression about these two aspects. What do you think the terrorism and extremism actually is about? Do not copy definitions from wikipedia or similar sites, because your honest, fresh minded answer is what I really require here When you hear word “terrorism” or “extremism”, what is your first thought about it? You’re very much welcome to extend your reply to multiple sentences. It would be really great and helpful for me if you could also add your age and nationality. It’ll help me create better graphs to my work. The more information I’ll got, the more efficient my BA thesis will be.

Extremism is more along the lines of taking extreme measures in order to get a message across... It can be full-out marches, or blowing up planes. You just want your message to be heard.

Terrorism is more along the lines of actually wanting to cause terror... Trying to spread a message, yet doing so that will increase your notiority, not your standing with the majority.

About Terrorism though, to me it's the act of losing all morals and values to hurt innocent people just to get your message crossed, as you see the Arabian terrorists, who think they are doing Jihad and a part of Islam like that. While in our holy book ( The Qur'an) it's said that terrorism is never a part of Islam and that it's better to god for his throne to be destroyed than an innocent life to be hurt.

^ Sorry that I took it more into more of a religious matter ( Islam ) but it kinda seems like how the world view terrorists now a days.
