Alright guys, so I have a project which I have to complete by February for psychology. Basically, I need to create a video about anything that's related to teenagers/adolescence in general. Of course, it needs to be from a psychology point of view.
I could create about the effects of society and media on teenagers, or about sexuality, etc. But I find those topics too "same old story". I would like something unique, but since I'm pratically drowning in schoolwork right now, I can't come up with anything original because I'm too mired on the rest of the work.
I'd much appreciate if you guys could give me some suggestions. Something unique related to the topic or about the topic.
I'm going to continue my maths essay and I'll check the answers here later.

Id say depression. That seems to be a little less common, it's always sexuality or abuse. Plus, it's something you understand very well. Something a lot of teens have trouble with and it's something that can open up a lot of peoples' eyes. Plus ive seen you just shortly explain what depression is on here, and you can explain it and word it so well.. It's like incredible mind blowing how deep you understand it and how well you can explain it.

The first thing that comes to mind is to explore the environmental causes and adolescent precursors to Psychopathy (ADPD). I'm not much of a Psychology person though.
How about a compilation? Get some POV videos from different people you know, and edit them into single footage.
Or maybe I don't understand the purpose of the project?
How teenagers are uninterested about politics in general nowadays? Where will it lead next generations to? Although it's a very wide subject (so many cultures and shit) so idk.
What are the effects of parents' divorce on teenagers?You could interview teenagers about it, record it maybe, make polls... show some statistics, your choice. (Since I might be one of the exceptions, being happy about my parents' divorce and shit, I can help x'D)
How are social media (such as Facebook, twitter, Myspace and dating sites) good and bad for teenagers in general?Simple structure, thesis, antithesis, synthesis. Can become either boring or interesting, depending on the ideas you'd have to present this.

Hm, I confess that depression is a topic which greatly interests me (For obvious reasons. Although, teenage depression sounds a bit too vague on its own to base a whole project on it. I may, however, include it as a sub-topic.

Although I find the subject incredibly interesting, I find it too specific. If it's too specific, it may bore some people since it will not fit all tastes. Something more general (but not too general) would be good.

I know a lot of teenagers who are interested, some even deeply, in politics. So, this is false fact, and will not do. I actually think they've become more interested now, since they didn't have really a say in it on days past.

This one is great. I'm really leaned on picking this one, and even if I don't I'll definately need to include it. The polls and interviews would make it much more interesting, and much more personal so that the spectators (who are mainly teenagers) could indentify themselves with the subject.

i would say do something about the psychology of computer games and music ( or general media ) on teens
but i also like the idea of the divorce on teens because mine divorced and i know a lot of people act differently when it happens
