Default Text books...

There's something about buying new text books. Its that feeling of dread as you realize that 14 texts you now own will have to be read through before the end of the semester... And there's that additional feeling of being broke as you say goodbye to almost $400.00.

But, I will say its slightly exhilarating to see my new text books. I'm excited.

Which is a round about way of asking - what classes are you guys taking this semester? Looking forward to any particular classes?

Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Managing Environmental Resources (MER), Communications and Math.
Looking forward to Chemistry, Biology and MER.
Physics I loathe.
Communications is pointless.
Math... isn't that bad.

Man, i had my sense of dread too about text books. But not because i would have read them all before the summer.
No, i always had a sense of dread because i had to pay a fortune for books we NEVER used!

I'm taking:

Ethics
Congress and the Presidency
American Foreign Policy
Natl Security Before Iraq& Beyond
Pakistan,Afghanistan, India
Religion and Human Experience

Eh. Nothing majorly exciting.

On another note, I spent $550 or so on 20 textbooks. And they were all used. I shudder to think what they would cost if I bought all of them new. I barely had enough money to pay for them.

Buying text books is such a pain. Do y'all sell them back? I find that I get about 10% or less of what I originally spent. It's frustrating but, I don't like not having books for certain classes. Some are pointless yes, but most of them are necessary.
