Where I live 13 is the legal age for sex.....so I guess it depends on where you live and your situation,if you have a few more details (i.e experience in dating, etc.) we might be able to give you a good opinion and advice
My honest opinion is do it when you feel ready and dont be forced into it

It's all down to personal choice really, whether there's laws or not, if you want something chances are you're gonna do it...

Just be careful, choose the right person and use birth control :)

If you answer "no" to ANY of the following questions, you're too young for sex;

Do you know of all the basic forms of protection?
Are my partner and I ready to be able to make the best decision possible if she gets pregnant?
Are you financially, physically and emotionally able to raise a child independently if abortion or adoption are not an option?
Are you well versed in how one actually becomes pregnant? (IE. when her ovulation cycle is, how long the sperm&egg have to meet and attach to the wall to continue developing etc)
Are you aware of the symptoms and proper protocol(not to mention how expensive) treatment can be if you contract and STD?
Are you prepared to spend tens of thousands of dollars in medical costs alone if you knock her up and she doesn't want to abort?

I don't find anything wrong as long as both the individuals are physically and emotionally ready for it.

Depends on if you're emotionally and physically ready for it, mature enough to handle any consequences of it, and you're aware of all of the risks and ways to prevent them.
If you are, and you're sure it's really what you want to do, then I don't see the problem.
Just don't do anything you know you're going to regret later.

Re: underage sex?

:cool1:Most kids in our age group are physically ready for sex, on the other hand, most are nowhere near ready for the emotional and psychological stuff that come with it.

Since we're kids we are not equipped for dealing with a lot if the emotional stuff in a relationship. Throw sex into the mix and it can be a mess.

Whatever you decide to do, do it because you're comfortable and want to, not because you think you have to.

I've only gone as far as making out, and don't see myself going all the way till I'm at least sixteen. That's me though, we're all different, and our situations are different.

Be safe with whatever you do.

How's that Kate. @DeepDistress:cool1:

I don't really have any problem with underage sex. The things that you should worry about are whether or not you actually wanna lose your virginity to a certain person, how to protect yourself, and tons of other stuff Caer covered. Sex isn't necessarily something that should just be taken so lightly, especially if you have too much to lose at your age. It's kinda like joining the military; if you don't know what you're doing, your life could be cut short in seconds.

Pun intended.

I lost my virginity when I was 15. I look back on it today and I regret it to the max.

It all comes down to personal choice. As long as you're careful and use protection (Condom, the pill etc..) then I think you should.

But like other members have said. It depends what country you're from. In Australia (Where I'm from) you can have sex from 16+ as long as the person who you're with in no more than 2 years older than you.
