I have tested this on another website to see the result in Chrome and each time what I find is that any link, clicked with the middle mouse button will open in a new tab and leave you on the current page so there is two tabs in total.

I get that myself too now, I really am not sure as to why it would do this, it doesnt do the same elsewhere, it could be due to our JS which makes the whole section clickable rather than just the link, is this the only part of the forum you experience this? If so, I believe it to be due to that.

Yeah this is due to the JS which is on all forums on the homepage. What I meant was does it happen anywhere else on the forum, do any other links behave the same?

O.o
I noticed this a while ago... but just thought it was normal.

It just happens on the homepage, when clicking on the different sections.
Instead of using my scroll button to open, I just right click and open it in a new tab.

The innocent can cry without the guilty getting hurt
You ask who you love, and you don't know, no, do you?
The spirit of God just passes right through you
You gave away heaven, handed right to you
And I can see it all tell me is it true?
And kiss me my darling, darling I need you

If this is causing usability problems will will fix this tonight but the whole section will no longer be clickable as it is right now and you will need to click directly on the link rather than its container.
