How are you doing with your newbies? My first one was a bit of a fail to be honest. He time-zones kind of kept us apart and I don't think he's posting any more.
The newbie I've got at the mo is fine, though it's a little hard to communicate since I don't speak the language he does...

Do you like the program how it is? I think the programme is alright and you've done a great job so far, but it could use some improvements regarding time-zones though. Also, language barriers are a bit of a problem, though I know there isn't much you can do about that.

Okay, so I came up with something that might work as far as timezones. I don't want to change the entire program based on timezones, but I CAN advise newbies that it might be best and they might benefit more from someone who lives near them with a closer timezone. We've all put locations on our bios correct?

I really like that newbies can choose mentors and I don't want to change that. I try to make it fair to everyone, but it seems like we're thinking of ourselves and not the newbies. This program is for them, but it benefits us all in the long run in the fact that more people are staying.

We are really slow right now, but hopefully, with the addition of the mentor program in the welcome message that I just sent to Cap, it'll get the word out even more.

I do want to thank all of you guys that are choosing to participate in the program. I do appreciate it because I know you don't have to.

EDIT: I have also expanded the mentor choices by letting the newbies pick 5 people that they would feel comfortable with instead of 3. Gives room for a more fair shot!
