Re: Does anyone play Basketball?
Moved to sports discussion
You've grown a lot in one year and that may have something to do with it. If you were doing shots like you say before, the you did have your technique correct. My advice to you would be to just practice. I play football myself and not basketball so I can't give you helpful advice in regards to your technique, but it does sound like you know what you're doing.
For my football side I took free kicks and corners, and occasionally I'd have a spell where I'd underhit them, then I'd over compensate and overhit them, and it knocked my confidence a lot, and sports is often very much a confidence thing and this is what it sounds like to me, a blip in form that's knocked your confidence a little.
My suggestion would be to go out on you own and just practice for a bit without the pressure of it being in a game situation, take shots and concentrate on getting your technique just right and get your confidence back up. Then you can start doing what you're good at in games again.
