I'm working at being a "basketball player", not working at "playing basketball". There is a difference. Now, I also play golf. I'm a 16 handicap, so I basically suck. The extent of my work on my golf game is hitting the range once or twice a month, and playing a round 2 to 3 times a month. I'm working at "playing golf", not at being a "golfer".
Great thread!!

Lol. I was the guy who said basketball was pretty easy. And I stand by it. I also played from a young age all thru high school and travelling teams. You are right that you work harder on hoops than golf. but this isn't about you or your work ethics. it's about which sport is harder for the whole human race. I am sure that it would be a hell of alot easier to take 10 random kids and teach them to play a jv basketball team and not get killed. It would be alot harder to take 10 random kids and get them to break 100 in golf. Just my opinion.
It's a great question and a hard one to answer. The "Sports Science" shows on fox sports had some great shows on SCIENTIFICALLY showing how and why different sports were difficult.
