Default Sports with disabilities

Has anyone here known of people who play sports with disabilities?

My older brother (half bro) is deaf and he used to be a total jock. In his younger years he was a soccer goalie. I’ve seen old vids of him and he was awesome at it. After he started high school he played as a running back on the football team.

Some people argue that he couldn’t have played if he can’t hear. In soccer he was the goalie and he just kept an eye on who had the ball and where it was. In football he was behind the QB and watched for the snap.

He did have injuries as you can imagine but with his disability he was pretty decent as an athlete.

I’d like to hear more stories from others if they have them to share.

can't share anything from my experiences or tell stuff from dudes I know, but I was impressed, when I read, that a guy with no legs joined an marathon run.
