and thanks, I wanted to take the dog home, but the teacher said I couldn't just keep it in the class even though I said it was obedient (although I'm not sure if it was)

Oh, so what happened to the dog in the end?
If someone hasn't already done so, you should check doglost and the local vets to see if someone's missing him/her, & see if they're microchipped.

Haha actually I didn't get into too much in the end. The head was torn between praising me for getting the dog off the car park, and having a go because I brought it into Maths...wasn't helped by when I was sent out with the dog it ran straight across the corridor into the opposite classroom. So I got a bit of a lecture on causing disruption but all in all I got of lightly

Yeah, in the end the head made some phone calls to whoever and there was a report of a missing dog which fitted the description so found it's way home in the end

...but if the owner couldn't be found I wasn't going let it be put in the kennels or anything, I was taking it home
