Default Pet sitting

My mom and brother went camping for the weekend.
So now I'm taking care of his bearded dragon, Zorro.

I like snakes so much better than lizards....

I LOVE beardies! They're so animated for a domestic lizard, and in a peculiar way (so I'm told) I find them senselessly adorable. Do you have to feed him crickets?
I'm a fan of snakes too but they're so lazy in comparison. Gorgeous to look at, but they're only ever interesting when they're chowing down on something. And I always feel sorry for them! I know it's hypocritical, but I can't help thinking that something that huge shouldn't be kept in a glass tank. Oh, I don't know. It's just topic fodder.

ANYWAY. Zoro's a pretty young beardie huh! He looks in good shape, most of the pet beardies I see are on the chunkier side.
Also, whatever camera you use has a beautiful macro setting/lens. What are you using?

Yeah I'm feeding him crickets, and some veggies.
I'm not a lizard person, I have my ball python Parker and I love him to death. So I guess I'm a snake lover at heart, But I used to have an adult male iguana and he was amazing!

Zorro seems a little on the skinny side for my taste. I might have to get on my brother about that when he gets back.

My camera is the nikon coolpix L110. It's more of an advance point and shoot and a great deal without having to buy a DSLR camera. But within the next few weeks I should have my Nikon D5000 and I'm extremely excited to start using that!

Eng on, so you used a DIGITAL CAMERA for those pictures?
Crikey mate. Sounds like a great buy, might have to invest for my holiday.

How do you feel about feeding him crickets? Much as I love reptiles, the horrible little buggers put me off for life. I didn't think I'd be so cringed out by them but it's the way they move so suddenly and weirdly, ururrhghhgh.

I hate crickets, they dont freak me out I just find them annoying. I much prefer feeding mice. I know it freaks some people out but I feed my snake live mice. I like taking care of mice and they're a lot more interesting than crickets.

I need to get some pictures of my snake on here.

I had a tortise growing up, they're cool
