Routine isn't neccesarily a bad thing, and to be honest I think most people will have one, especially when at school. I know I did.

However, I used to play for a football club which helped give me something different to do on a couple of days with training and matches at weekends, so maybe try joining a club or something to help give you summit different to do?

Also make the most of the weekends, during the week days naturally because of school you wont have much time for a lot else, epsecially with homework, but try find something to do at the weekends should help make things seem less boring. I found that I myself had to do alot of the organising for activities and getting friends out as alot of tem just wouldn't, probably because it can be a bit of hassle getting people out, so maybe take the initiative and invite your friends out to do something if they're not organising stuff themselves to ehlp make life less boring and breaking the routine

Yup. I did exactly the same thing as you.

Still do it now. Wake up, college, laptop/PS3, bed.

Weekends and summer holidays = Wake up, laptop/PS3, bed.

Not the lifestyle I enjoy but it's certainly better than hanging around with the immature, disrespectful teenagers around here.

Only thing I can suggest is finding something you enjoy and keep at it.

There was an article in the NY Times a bit ago that showed that young people spend a gazillion hours online or doing alone electronic things. OK, maybe not a gazillion, but you get the idea (I don't recall the actual number, but it was surprisingly high). The issue was the isolation, and that's what you might be experiencing here.

Variety is the spice of life, turn the PC off, and get out of the house, be with people, do things outside, make new friends or do new things, (or, hang with your current friends doing stuff you like, it doesn't matter) put yourself in contact with people in new experiences, force yourself to get out there and mingle.

The good thing about the net and PS3 is that it will always be there when you return.
