starting mine tomorrow D: D: so nervous

just wondering where you all went for work experience ??

I'm going dog walking

I worked for my Dad.

When I say "worked", I mean I spent most of the time at home.

My Dad's a contractor and just happened to not have much work going on at the time. Fortunately the jobs he did end up doing were quite big so I at 'least did something. I was just an assistant, collecting tools, holding ladders...simple, boring stuff really.

My first job was a store for clothing,toys etc and I was a cashier

then I worked at a icecream parlour as cashier and serving clients

worked at a restaurant , serving,cooking and cashier


it was fun

My "work Experience" for college was for The Ministry of Natural Resources as a park warden.
I basically had all the same rights and privileges as a police officer within the boundaries of the park I was working in. I had to undergo use of force training, become certified in CPR and First Aid, revise the Emergency Plan and make changes where I saw fit,foot patrols, mobile patrols,campsite evictions,write tickets,boat patrols along the beaches,I had to walk at least one trail per day shift etc

It was great.I love working outdoors.

I did work experience in a vets for 2 weeks a nursery for a week and a kindergarten place for a week, they was all alright, enjoyed the vets the most though cos got to help out more and was really interesting

I worked at Skanska, a construction company for 2weeks, wasn't bad at all because I started at 10 and finished at 3 and I worked in the office so I got 1hour lunch and breaks

also every winter I am the loader operator for my grandmas work (lol pretty funny seeing a 14 year old running a huge cat loader)
